The answer is no, Three are some internal modems that will work to some degree. As for your second question, sure the purpose of a Fax Modem is to Fax. I have used a faxmodem more times than I can count to send and receive faxes. Why is this posted on the biz list anyways? Just curious. Thanks, Steve

Hi Folks, about 1 week ago I asked a question about using EXTERNAL Fax/Modems (RS-232) that can be used as an FXO or FXS. But I couldn't get to a clear answer yet! Has anyone used EXTERNAL Fax/Modems to SEND/Recv FAXES? Can we use them for faxing at least? Any comments is greatly appreciated. Regards, Seysan
