I rarely get affected by any postings but I think that today you did hurt my feelings :-) - you may know that I happen to be the author of another GUI - Thirdlane PBX Manager. I was just wondering - what makes you say that Switchvox is "light years ahead of anything else"? Did you have some really bad experience with a particular GUI or just "anything else"? Absolutely nothing against Switchvox, I am just curious what makes you feel so strongly (negative about anything else)? And only one complaint you have about the software? I have many complaints about our own software after 3 years of constant improvement and so do our customers, plus there is a long list of feature requests. Have you tried Thirdlane, or PBXware (Senad, I hope you don't mind me speaking on your behalf - I think highly of PBXware even though you are a competition), or any other GUIs recently? Well, since Dean is going to do the burning and the testing we should probably let Dean decide what he likes. I talked to tristen at VON Boston and they are reworking that mechanism. in the past, they integrated the asterisk product and probably worked closely with digium programmers to get * bug fixes they they found identified. now that workload is offloaded to digium and they can concentrate more on the gui. the latest release, that I haven't seen until this week at VON, has plugins so you can do cool things like 'google' a caller id, pop up a google map of where the call came from, launch sales force or sugarCRM right in their gui... you can even design your own plugins... switchvox was already ahead of the competitors in this marketplace, this new release leapfrogs them 100 fold. switchvox has made a smart move by adding the plugins digium saw the benefit of picking them up, and it is a VERY wise choice to add this into your product mix. daveC Steve Totaro wrote: Antonio Gallo wrote: Tim Booth ha scritto: It looks like its limited to 15 extensions and no access to most of the call center things and no call recording.
