Aren't they subject to the OFCOM ruling regarding termination to mobile numbers being required to be mobile devices? (making premicells illegal if used for inbound purposes)? If you only need a few, can't you just use a GSM modem? Voipfone offer mobile numbers for receiving texts (free with an account) in a Vodafone number range (well mine was).
