That's it, really. The phone passes calls to * which routes as per configuration (onward dialing, or voicemail, ...). However I also want smses delivered to the device to be handled by forwarding them by email, or posting them to a perl script hosted on a web server somewhere. I have seen lots of gsm gateways that do the right things for calls, I just want a recommendation of a device that does the right thing with calls and sms. > (although technically you could use a cheap mobile phone and just > toss some software on there to intercept calls and SMS messages, > bridge it to say a linux box via bluetooth, and create a simple > signalling system for it, Maybe when I had lots of spare time, that would have been a nice project. :-) Thanks Andy _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com-- AstriCon 2008 - September 22 - 25 Phoenix, Arizona Register Now: http://www.astricon.net asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
