My interest is business related. If this thing comes even close to Redfone's device, I will buy, buy, and get one free.
I am not so worried about immediate switchover, if it takes a minute or less, I would be happy at that price point. I am in CoLos nowhere near me, so a minute is nothing really. Even in the same building, it would take a tech that knows what they are doing to determine the problem, move the T1 cables and change the IP of the backup box, if it is setup that way, probably more like five to ten minutes provided they went right to it. If it doesn't work reliably, I don't want to waste my money since I would never deploy anything that doesn't work at least reasonably well. Can I get a demo unit? I will test extensively, and post my results to the list. I would like to think that my name means something to those that have been around for a while. I call em like I see em. If the unit is any good, I will give you a testimonial to post on your site (if you want) as well as post my results to the list.
