Spammers do what they do because they get a response. I never understood who would be ordering pills from the Canadian companies offering generic Viagra but there seems to be a large market because the spammers keep sending the emails which means people are still clicking. If no one clicked on those emails they would go away. I think we should treat these emails like a bad torrent. If no one responds to them hopefully they will just die away.
