I would strongly advise you to engage a consultant experienced in DOCSIS, Cable TV systems and VOIP to assess the installed equipment and design a solution prior to making any proposal on your part. Otherwise, I am fairly confident you will waste a huge amount of time learning about Cable TV and will provide a substandard solution to the client's customers if you ever get that far. Even with an experienced consultant at your side, it may not be a bed of roses as I have experienced.
