I think the bigger issue is how Digium haven't announced the license price or even model for the Asterisk/Skype gateway license yet expect beta users to gush about how it's finally available.

(the fact they haven't discussed means it's going to probably end badly - I'm expecting something like a monthly license fee or something equally difficult to swallow).
