Michelle,
You may get better responses from the asterisk users list for your technical questions. Just a thought... -Seth From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michelle Dupuis Sent: Friday, March 12, 2010 1:16 PM To: 'Asterisk Business List' Subject: Re: [asterisk-biz] H.323 - Avaya connection help (ooH323) We've installed Asterisk from YUM (onto Centos), and H323 was not included in the base packaging, but ooH323 was in the add-ons. Do we have to compile from source to get H.323? Have you seen compatability issues with ooh323? Or why switch? _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Friday, March 12, 2010 11:11 AM To: Asterisk Business List Subject: Re: [asterisk-biz] H.323 - Avaya connection help (ooH323) I recommend you use an asterisk chan_h323 instead of chan_ooh323. 2010/3/12 Michelle Dupuis <[email protected]> We're looking for someone who has experience (more than a couple of installs) of connecting Asterisk 1.6 to an Avaya using ooh323. We have logs, error messages, config files, and (soon) screen shots of the config on the Avaya. We can get Asterisk to see the Avaya's gatekeeper (CLAN) but asterisk always crap out with error: ERROR:No Gatekeeper ID present in received GKConfirmed message. I'm guessing this is a simple/easy fix and we're happy to pay someone to get us over the hump. If you want to assist, please provide contact info, experience, and estimated cost.
