Kevin, if you follow the discussion of Vestec Speech Engine for ASTERISK on the
biz list, you will notice that a number of Asterisk users had
requested a connector for Freeswitch. Some of these people had already
licensed the Vestec speech engine for Asterisk - with an Asterisk
connector - and for some reason wanted to try it with Freeswitch.
As such, I was only responding to requests made for a Freeswitch connector on
Asterisk biz list.
