You're absolutely right. The problem with "unlimited" marketing is that it results in a case of "bad money drives out the good." The vendors who advertise unlimited, even if it is unsustainable and not something they can deliver beyond the threshold of a putative usage scenario, will grab customers who do not realise all this and shop on price. As is often the case with predatory competition, this creates a new common denominator of marketing requirements, and forces even the companies who want to be honest about the underlying economics with their customers to play this "unlimited" game to some extent, lest they lose business. And in the end, everyone loses. -- Alex Balashov - Principal Evariste Systems LLC 1170 Peachtree Street 12th Floor, Suite 1200 Atlanta, GA 30309 Tel: +1-678-954-0670 Fax: +1-404-961-1892 Web: http://www.evaristesys.com/ -- _____________________________________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
