I've installed asterisk-1.0.7_4 and zaptel-0.9_1 on 5.3-RELEASE and I'd like to thank everyone who has given me help!
I now have a "localisation" question. I'm in Luxembourg so I thought I'd use loadzone = de defaultzone = de in zaptel.conf This didn't work so I used 'fr'. (I found out that 'nl' works, later) I'm using a TDM400P (demo kit - channels: 1 and 4) When I call from the trunk I hear a good dial tone in the headset but the physical phone doesn't produce a ringing sound that I recognise. Now I know that in the UK there can be problems with ring capacitors but here in Luxembourg I don't think this is needed. Where can I change the ringing sound? I've looked in indications.conf but this looks like it's only configuring the tones that the caller hears and not the ringing sound that a called phone/extension makes. Also, could someone tell me where I have to change zone (and perhaps language) parameters to make Asterisk "Localised" for Luxembourg.
