I think there are specific version requirements regarding pwlib and openh323.
Haven't heard anything about the openmcu though. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Steve Ames Sent: Friday, June 03, 2005 9:17 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Asterisk-bsd] Compiling ASterisk on FreeBSD 5.4 On Wed, Jun 01, 2005 at 10:05:24PM +1000, Graham Menhennitt wrote: > Matthias Fechner wrote: > > >was anyone here successfull in compiling asterisk on FreeBSD 5.4? > > > > > Are you using the port (/usr/ports/net/asterisk)? It works for me. On the subject of the port... is there a reason that the FBSD ports collection has the versions it does for asterisk and all its dependancies? Several seem a long way out of date. Asterisk itself is 1.0.7 which is fine, but Package version date current date pwlib 1.5.0 6/6/03 1.9.0 3/7/05 openh323 1.12.0 6/6/03 1.17.1 3/10/05 openmcu 1.1.7 3/7/03 2.1.0 3/10/05 These are the sourceforge versions... it appears that the 'latest versions' on openh323.org are pwlib-1.5.2, openh323-1.12.2 (all from 2003). I'm not sure of the relationship between openh323.org and the openh323 project on sourceforge. Before I spend time trying the newer versions of pwlib and openh323 and opening PR to get updates to FBSD ports... has anyone tried the newer versions and did they work OK/better? I'm likely going to try the newer versions anyway with gnugk (which is also old in FBSD Ports) Thanks! -steve _______________________________________________ Asterisk-BSD mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-bsd _______________________________________________ Asterisk-BSD mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-bsd
