I had similar symptoms using a TDM400P in a very old motherboard. I
checked the motherboard manual to see if the slots claimed PCI rev2.2
compliance, but it was too old to know that PCI came in more than one
flavour. Transferring the card to a not-quite-so-old motherboard
made it
work fine.
Interesting. This is pretty up to date computer .. a Dell Power
Edge 750
