Hello list, new around here. After some digging with it, i cannot say if it works or not. Everything is installed, configured and should work (works with a linux-asterisk setup). I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong or it just isn't posible.
when i do ztcfg it outputs: [EMAIL PROTECTED] /usr/ports/misc/zaptel/work/zaptel-freebsd-0.11]# ztcfg Keyword: [loadzone], Value: [es] Keyword: [defaultzone], Value: [es] Keyword: [span], Value: [1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4] Keyword: [bchan], Value: [1-15] Keyword: [dchan], Value: [16] Keyword: [span], Value: [2,2,0,esf,b8zs] Keyword: [fxols], Value: [32-51] Keyword: [fxsks], Value: [52-55] ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 2: Device not configured (6) The zaptel.conf is the same i have on the linux box, and works. And i found that i dont have the /dev/zap/# devices that correspond to channels (that i have on my linux ast), only the timer ctl channel and pseudo devs. And when i try to load Asterisk it fails trying to load one of those channels devs that dont exist. # asterisk -cvvvvvvv output [chan_zap.so] => (Zapata Telephony w/PRI) == Parsing '/usr/local/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf': Found Apr 22 06:33:48 WARNING[4313]: chan_zap.c:1078 zt_open: Unable to specify channel 32: Device not configured Apr 22 06:33:48 ERROR[4313]: chan_zap.c:7148 mkintf: Unable to open channel 32: Device not configured here = 0, tmp->channel = 32, channel = 32 Apr 22 06:33:48 ERROR[4313]: chan_zap.c:11444 setup_zap: Unable to register channel '32-51' Apr 22 06:33:48 WARNING[4313]: loader.c:414 __load_resource: chan_zap.so: load_module failed, returning -1 Apr 22 06:33:48 WARNING[4313]: loader.c:554 load_modules: Loading module chan_zap.so failed! ---- After this it goes back to the shell. I tried to not avail to see why those devs dont get created. My question is: Is it really posible to have this setup working? Im not asking what is better. If you know what could be wrong i'd really apreciate it.
