We have already fixed this in the port. KillFill and I and the issue is still there.
asterisk 1.4.6 + svn of zaptel-bsd/branches/1.4 it seems that asterisk ./configure sees the zaptel but for somereason when it goes to build it does not include chan_zap and there for zaptel does not work.
