Let me know how I can help. I see this a greatly advantageous. There are some mods that I'd like to contribute back to the FreePBX project that will improve portability. > My approach so far has been massive amounts of sed to try and get the > paths in the various scripts to match what FreeBSD ports usually do. > I've been partially successful in getting install_amp to run, and I've > gotten to the point that it's starting to run the update scripts in > freepbx-2.9.0/upgrades/ and I've hit a snag. You do need it because that is how FreePBX gathers various bits of run time data from asterisk, as well as applying configuration and reloading. The manager config is in $prefix/etc/asterisk/manager.conf You can protect it with an ACL and password: Mine: ---X--- ; ; Asterisk Call Management support ; [general] enabled = yes port = 5038 bindaddr = 127.0.0.1 [admin] secret = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx deny=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 permit=127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0 read = system, call, log, verbose, agent, user, config, dtmf, reporting, cdr, dialplan write = system, call, agent, user, config, command, reporting, originate ---X--- and setting the following in ampportal.conf AMPMGRUSER=admin AMPMGRPASS=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > I'm also curious if anyone who has this running sees serious flaws in Now, I'm curious... what flaw do you see?
