I just updated the README for linux compiling intsructions: you need to configure wxWindows with --disable-shared. This is so we can build redistributable binaries.
I would prefer to run IAXCOMM directly and not via WINE. I'll give it a go later.

When I load up IAXCOMM using my default account. IAXCOMM says 'Registration rejected'.
