Should I be using the "stable" branch or the development branch? The 
development branch seems to have more fixes than the stable branch. It 
looks like fixes going into the release branch aren't going into the 
stable branch.

From what I've heard at this point cvs-HEAD is more "stable" then the 
1.0-stable branch
