[Asterisk-Dev] Set language using ast_request_and_dial and Local Channel

Hi all!

How can I set language for a new Local channel using function 
ast_request_and_dial?

Using this code

newCh = ast_request_and_dial("Local",
                ast_best_codec(chan->nativeformats), 
                dialstr, 30000, &state, 
                cid_num, cid_name)

and making a call to a meetme or other applications the language is always "en".

How local channel get the language to use?
