Doh! Of course you are right... MacroExit is a lot more lightweight than Goto, obviously, but it's still an app to run.
I'm not terribly concerned about it; if everyone decides it's not needed we can just drop the bug. I'll keep it around on my systems, because it's simple and useful and causes no harm... and until Tilghman's Gosub/Return stuff gets merged (if ever) it's better that nothing.
