Greetings, I was having a conversation with someone the other day and was informed that ztdummy is basically unnecessary in BSD and perhaps in more recent linux kernels. Is this indeed the case? Would you need to run asterisk at a realtime priority for this to work? Getting rid of the ztdummy requirement would be an amazing win for OS portability, as long as it could rely on the OS's realtime timer.
