Back in October of last year, I asked if there was a formal license for
the Asterisk sounds [1] and Kevin responded in the negative[2].  I've
been working on getting Asterisk packaged for inclusion in Fedora[3].
However, Asterisk isn't much use without the default set of sounds so
getting the sounds packaged in Fedora is key.  Fedora has a fairly
strict policy regarding licensing, so I don't think that Kevin's
statement[2] will suffice.  Is there any chance that a license for the
sounds will be developed soon?
