Along the same lines, we introduced a backward compatibility function
in 1.6.0, whereby app_set, res_agi, and pbx_realtime all could
continue to use 1.4's method of separating arguments with a pipe
instead of a comma. Those compatibility functions were always
intended to be a temporary fix to avoid breaking people while they
upgraded from 1.4 to 1.6.x. While we are removing deprecated modules,
we really ought to also be removing old behaviors that were meant to
go away.
