Hello, I have at least two asterisk boxes suffering from continuous lock and I'd like to know if you are experiencing the same issues. I have a total of around 200 asterisk servers around with versions ranging from 11.x to latest 13.6, but this problems happens just on a couple.
In detail, asterisk stops processing SIP packets. The chan_sip module stops responding (it is not even possible to run a "sip show peers"), but all other part of asterisk is working. If I check the Linux UDP buffer, I found it full (I tried also increasing the size of the buffer) and the only way to revive it is to restart asterisk. I have tried also the upcoming 13.7.0-rc2 with same results. Few days ago I downgraded asterisk to 13.2 and I don't faced the problem yet. When asterisk stops, obviously the log stops producing data, so it is quite easy to spot was the server was doing when it stops working. It is a infinite list of /var/log/asterisk/full.1:[2016-01-13 09:39:03] WARNING[48124][C-0000001b] chan_sip.c: Can't send 10 type frames with SIP write /var/log/asterisk/full.1:[2016-01-13 09:39:04] WARNING[48124][C-0000001b] chan_sip.c: Can't send 10 type frames with SIP write /var/log/asterisk/full.1:[2016-01-13 09:39:04] WARNING[48124][C-0000001b] chan_sip.c: Can't send 10 type frames with SIP write So it seems it can be something connected to the Comfort Noise lack of support. Is it a know problem? I haven't found any issues related to this problem on the tracker. How can gather enough info to give you useful info on tracking the problem? Leandro
