Subject: Re: [asterisk-dev] [DAHDI] How to set FXO channel busy

Hello,
I have developed a FXO driver which is working fine.
Where can we find it?
The driver I am developing supports both FXS and FXO.
Initially I have done FXS portion, it was improved by Vittorio Gambaletta
and you can find it as OpenWRT package at
https://github.com/villagetelco/vt-fxs-packages.
After I finalize FXO portion I will push it as well.
I want to test the nontrivial scenario when I have an analog phone in
parallel to the FXO port.
This setup works as expected.
What I want in addition is the FXO port detects if the analog phone is
off-hook (has already seized the line).
I can detect this by measuring the voltage on the line.
So anyone familiar with DAHDI.
What king of signal my driver should send to DAHDI so it puts the FXO
channel busy? (to avoid FXO tiring to seize the line if it is already used
by the analog phone)
What signal I need to release the channel afterwards?
I don't remember if this is handled by DAHDI well.
Thank you.
Anybody else having a clue?
Thanks
Dimitar
