Greetings all,

As we regularly update Gerrit I thought I'd send this email out as a reminder
to ensure your git-review utility is also up to date. The best source to get it
from is pip which has the latest version, 1.27.0. While we keep Gerrit
configured to be as backwards compatible as possible using an old version will
result in warnings such as:

remote: WARNING: deprecated topic syntax. Use %topic=TOPIC instead
remote: Pushing to refs/publish/* is deprecated, use refs/for/* instead.

This does not stop the review from going up but in the future Gerrit may remove
the backwards compatibility, causing it to then fail. If you update to the
latest version of git-review these messages will go away and you can ensure you
won't have any interruption when updates occur in the future.

Cheers,

Joshua C. Colp
