Hi,
It seems that a relatively recent change in DAHDI-linux (Was this change made by me? maybe) broke the userspace interface a bit: as of kernel 4.13 the dahdi device has the attibute "dahdi_spantypes" instead of "spantypes".
https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/DAHTOOL-82 is a change intended to support both ways. If anybody wants to also revert the problem in dahdi-linux, that would also be nice, but there is already a version released with this.
Any chance someone could test this with a real hardware? See the way I tested this below (and that did not full include dahdi_span_types).
I also recently saw someone added a basic test of the dahdi modules building to the Debian package, and decided to extend it: there is now a test of loading dahdi spans and making a call in Asterisk. This uses the autopkgtest infrastructure in Debian:
https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-voip-team/dahdi-linux/tree/master/debian/tests
So, can anybody pleae review this patch? I'd like to have some better confidence in it before attempting to push it (past freeze) into the next Debian Stable.
