I've just pushed up a pull request against ast_coredumper that changes how it finds the executable file, libraries and modules, and need testers. If you have some spare time, please look at the PR https://github.com/asterisk/asterisk/pull/446 and/or download the file from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/asterisk/asterisk/2a6b51257f9029f956f0c7704a197a8c8838e771/contrib/scripts/ast_coredumper
Try it both against a running asterisk instance and against a coredump produced from a SEGV, etc. You can induce a SEGV easily with "kill -SEGV `pidof asterisk`". Don't do either on a production system of course. :) If you find issues, report them in the PR comments.
