All providers information comes from a Digium hosted javascript. The downloaded script has not only the information about the service providers, but also all the javascript needed to add/delete those providers.

There are already even more providers listed (IAXTEL, bandwidth, VoicePulse-sip, VoicePulse-iax, simplesignal, ngt) within providers.conf rather than those 4 available in the selection box of the Asterisk GUI. Strange .... Anyhow, but how to add providers such as bluesip, sipgate, 1&1, ... ? Meaning a provider that is yet NOT listed in the list of, say "available" providers? I would expect that I would be asked a couple of questions (mainly those data that get´s written to "providers.conf"). Plus a possibility to upload a graphic for the provider. But: now way! However (which doesn´t imply that I´m happy with the workaround!) I was able to add SIP-providers via Trunks -> VOIP Trunks -> "+ New SIP/IAX Trunk" but those data ends up in the file users.conf. Is that the way it should work? Then please explain the sense that´s behind the providers.conf data !?!
