We already installed Asterisk-Gui-2.0.4 and wanted to configure the E1 but there was no option to add CRC4 to that as it was needed with our configuration so I had do it manually however the E1 Card is up and shows under the T1/E1 Trunk section of GUI.
1. Incoming calling rules page says based patterns not on DID (I might be missing something here? If so please explain?) 2. assigning channels? 3. some other GUIs I have seen has an option like assigning DAHDI/1gGrR something and so on? Its not there is GUI 2.0.4 surprisingly or you must rely on pattern based? Well it didn't worked for me. 4. for example I have a 100 DIDs starting from 22980000 (8Digits) till 22980099 and hunt number is 22980000 so where do I put this number or any other Number? On pattern box? If so then there should be a clear text put your DID or pattern isn't it? Pardon my ignorance but im in a learning process of Asterisk and no training available in my region. This would automatically create a trunk - something like span_1. You can define incoming rules based on DID in the incoming calling rules page. If you are using DAHDI (work in progress, but should work fine) checkout from - http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk-gui/team/pari/dahdi_support/ follow the rest of the steps as above. -pari -- Pari Nannapaneni Digium, Inc. | Software Developer. 445 Jan Davis Drive NW - Huntsville, AL 35806 - USA Check us out at: www.digium.com & www.asterisk.org ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rajesh Kumar ( Alshaya Group International )" <[email protected]> To: "Asterisk GUI project discussion" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2009 9:52:49 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: Re: [asterisk-gui] "Checking write permission for gui folder" Could you guys tell me how do you handle an E1 with GUI? Commited a slightly-modified version of that into DAHDI-tools: URL: http://svn.digium.com/svn-view/dahdi?view=rev&rev=5661 Log: Add an extra output format, 'asterisk': make the configuration readable for an Asterisk configuration parser.
