Q: why is it required to be root to run scripts/mastercsvexists ? My asterisk doesn't run as root and the asterisk user is able to read & write to the /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv file. Wouldn't it be better to check if this file can be read by the asterisk user rather than checking if asterisk runs as root?
I've commented out the 4 lines checking for root and it works fine on my box. with kind regards, Stefan van der Eijk
