Hello,

I'm seeing the following notice messages from mtp3d every 5 minutes.

[NOTICE] mtp.c:1622 mtp2_fetch_zap_event Got event on link 'sig2': 8 (0/11)

>From transport.c, '8' is the result of ioctl(fd, DAHDI_GETEVENT,e), and from
/usr/include/dahdi/user.h

/* Ret. Value for GET/WAIT Event, Bad FCS */
#define DAHDI_EVENT_BADFCS              8

>From what I've read on the internet, bad FCS errors are only a problem if they
are frequent, and they can be fixed by using shorter cables, and by better
shielding.

Is my understanding correct?

Regards,
Stephen
