Firstly, I have no experiences with CID.
I think that my patch does not affect anything and is only veryfing, that the phone is realy offhook. This patch should be functional only when th e phone is ringing (RING_OFF or RING_ON states). Problems with CID can depends on duration of the loops, it would be possible, define some concrete number of milliseconds. I think (but do not how yet)
Does have "loops" same duration? And what is "loop" duration on different ZAP devices (T1XXP,USB,...)?

Do you think or are you sure?really up to 100? 50 for me is fine.
But that loops bring up a new problem with cid: if you go offhook between the first and second ring (= when cid is transmitted to the phone), you can hear that tones, like a modem noise, since the loops delay the off-hook detection, I think.
Or the value should be 0 and let it be configurable.
Any hints to solve that?

Now it should be included in CVS. It can be usefull increase "loops" value to 100.

_______________________________________________Ok. With loops=30 I got some "autoanswer", but more rarely . Let's say that on 300 autogenerated calls the issue happens half than without the patch.
I've raised the loops to 50, and on 300 testcalls I never had a autoanswer. So that seems to works.

Ok, applied.
Now I'll test in my production server, to see if that happens again.
If works ok (I think yes), probably mark could include that into the main sources.

Hi.This patch should work...
I'm experiencing a strange issue with *. I have a dev kit, aka a T100P + a zhone cb.
Sometimes, on certains phones (on the fxo ports of the cb) , when the phone rings, * detect it as answered after the first ring, even if no one is at the phone!
The result is that on the other party (which called the phone) hears only silence. (since the caller is bridged with an on-hook phone, but is detected as off-hook)
The problem is that I can't reproduce it, it happens randomly. The debug logs report the same as if the channel was normally answered.
Any hint ?
