My problem is that the calls drop suddenly while the call is in progress, at random times. Sometimes the call proceeds for several minutes before dropping, and sometimes it drops within seconds.

Keep the list posted, please.
I've been having a devil of a time with calls dropping, and had no idea that the busydetect stuff might be the culprit.
At the same time, I've got to have it in there; I have yet to have my X101P detect a hangup without it. . .
