Hi, There is not a real FXO port. It just pass the FXS port to it when a PSTN call is received and answered. To make a little comparision is like a reverse voice modem (which only aparently has one FXO port - the line and one FXS port - the phone and in reality there is only a FXO port).
It will be nice to be integrated in Asterisk as a replacement for the local console. Then you do not need another allways on Windows box to use it. I will receive soon such a device too. BR, Dan P.S. The included application can be used as a standalone SIP softphone and register it with Asterisk or just with ICH? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Humberto Atristain V." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, June 22, 2003 6:14 PM Subject: [Asterisk-Users] PCI CARD > Hi All > > Does someone tried Actiontec PCI Internet Phone Wizard or integrate to Asterisk > > http://www.actiontec.com/products/voip/ipw_pci/ipw_overview_pci.html > http://www.actiontec.com/products/voip/ipw_usb/ipw_overview_usb.html > > this stuff is like Quick cards BUT MUCH better it has FXO port and FXS ports > on the same. > > The best part the PCI unis is aprox. $40.00 usd > The USB is aprox. $50.00 usd > > it works with ICH > > I hope this work!! > > > Humberto > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users > > _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
