Moshe, I was having the same problem with my software only asterisk pbx setup. I was using two kphones on different machines, connecting through a machine running asterisk. They would connect just fine, but voice was not getting routed through. I installed linphone, which can be found at wwww.linphone.org, on the machines running kphone, and can now get very clear voice communications, but only for 5 seconds. Also, after installing alsa drivers on the linux systems, I could call a linux machine running kphone from a windows machine running estara's softphone and get VoIP just fine, but not vice versa. Linphone is open source, so you might want to give it a try. Eventually, I'm going to try to port one of those programs to a Sharp Zaurus SL-5600, so I'm trying to nail down their native functionality first. I hope this helps, and if anyone has any idea of why I can only maintain voice connections for 5 seconds, I would appreciate your input. Thanks
