You can easily set up a pure VoIP box (is the easiest configuration of *) and use for "internal" comm environment (obviously, until you don't put * in condition to "talk" with the normal phone lines, you'll not be able to call a non-VoIP client) Fxo and Fxs are not strict requirements to have * work. * can use FXO, FXS, PRI, and BRI lines, but is not mandatory to have them. Just take a couple of SIP phones (also soft-phones), set up the sip.conf properly, and you'll have a perfectly running * box for VoIP use. If you take the fxs card, you wil be able to make a normal phone ring if called from the VoIP phones, and call from the normal phone to the VoIP phones. -- Stefano Finetti _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
