Thanks Alistair, I'm a relative linux newbie and haven't worked with perl in over 5 years but your info makes sense (will probably be much clearer when I'm in the middle of configuring stuff).
I'll take a look at the links you provided, in the meantime just to clarify on using a bash script - Am I correct in presuming I could do something like: extensions.conf --------------- [default] s,1,AGI(bash-scriptname.sh) To call my script from asterisk?
