For what it's worth, on my own Debian (testing) machine, no changes at all were necessary. I just did the CVS checkout, and "make all" as directed. Even "make install" worked fine. Pretty impressive. I was even able to make the program documentation once I found out that the required program "dot" is part of the "graphviz" package, and not doxygen: % apt-get install openssl-dev doxygen graphviz I do like the file layout in Mark Purcell's asterisk Debian package better than the defaults, of course, but it's probably easier in the long run to stay on the CVS tip and adopt that (non-Debian) layout.
