Rememeber G.711 is 64Kbps without overhead.. Actual bandwidth required is somewhere around 87Kbps.. On a 128Kbps line if anything else uses the line you will get clicks and breaks in the transmission..



Mmmmhhhhh, Does not ADSL stands for ASIMETRIC Digital Subscriber Line ? So if its a 128 Kbps ADSL... what is your Asimetry relation ? You might be having 128 Kbps in one way but 64 Kbps ( Or less ) on the other...
