I suffer from this problem as well. I cannot get asterisk to connect via sip
coming in from fwd.pulver.com. I am using a modem to connect but have placed
the server outside of the firewall in a DMZ but this makes no difference.

I get the 'oh that's ugly' phrase as well. Pulver thinks I am connected so
the registration is getting through it is just not allowing any connections
coming back.

I have read loads of threads on this topic and none of the setups have
worked including the one in this email.

What is the rest of your setup so that I can attempt it more fully. Also
what should I expect from the sip debug. I get about 4 messages but what
should they read like if it has all worked?

Lastly do you know of any other sip forwarders apart from pulver.com that do
work with asterisk?

I hope you have the time to answer and I look forward to your reply.

Thanks in advance.
Regards
Fats
