I discovered that SC in Dell parliance means "Simplified Configuration". Or in other words, limited control of IRQ's. There is also some meaning to the 2nd digit that inferred PCI2.1 and PCI2.2 but I don't recall what the "formula" is. Maybe someone else knows. For the record, I have an 1400SC which performs flawlessly for everything _except_ asterisk as I can't get my X100P not to share.
