Asterisk is the wrong tool for the > job. This is hard to follow.... I'm not at all looking for "100% exact behavior of a key system" I like Aterisk how it works and what it does. I am very new with Asterisk (3 months now) and am very pleased with what it does. I simply am looking for more information on how to make it work with the phones that can do 'multi-line appearance functions' 'similar' to a key system and looking for real answers as to can it will it or won't it? Some of the SIP phones have this 'feature' So (again) I am looking for more information on how to actually use this feature and looking to see if Asterisk will ever do this at all or not as this is still unclear.
