The clock on cisco phones 'disappears' when it fails to receive updates from the ntp server.
This is most likely due to your ntp server configuration. By default the ntp mode on your cisco phone is directedbroadcast. If your ntp server doesn't support this you will need to change the mode on your phone to unicast.
