We use the MultiTech FaxFinder 100 and 110 (1 and 2 port fax,
respectively). We have it integrated with an Asterisk server, faxes
are routed to the FaxFinder, converted to PDF files and sent to an
electronic depository. Documents are faxed electronically from the
desktop.
That's of no use to me. I have a Hylafax server in my office and Efax
for sending international, but my guests expect a fax machine.
I suspect the best solution is to use a T38 provider such as our
esteemed freind, and a SER proxy with rtpproxy. I will be working on
that as a solution in the next couple of weeks.
