Hi Remco Thanks for the response. I am running Suse 9.3 kernel 2.6.11.4-20a-default. Will check on the auto update, but I don't think so.

You didn't state what distro you are running but my guess is that you have autoupdate / up2date running. Before the powerfailure the kernel was updated and after the powerfailure the box booted the new kernel for which you need to recompile the module. Cheers!
