I don't know. The AMI (Asterisk Manager Interface), accessed via a TCP
connection to port 5038, has some known problems with many connections
to AMI. Fortunatly, someone wrote a very cool proxy for the Asterisk
Manager Interface. If you look at the messages in the Asterisk-users
and Asterisk-dev mailing lists you should see information about.
The command "asterisk -rx command" does NOT use the Asterisk Manager
Interface, it connects to a local unix socket and basically emulates the
Asterisk CLI.
