Ya..good points.
I have a Network Appliance filer I plan to use for back-end secure storage, and I like so far the Cisco 7960 phones.
Im working with a list member here already on specifics, and I am sure he'll be a great resource if i can talk Mgmnt into going this direction.

Im new to this list, and I am currently in search of a NorCal source for some pre-sales or assistance in understanding what I need for a 30 user VoIP solution in our office.
This solution appears to be perhaps the lowest cost with the largest feature set available, I just need to try to make a recommendation extremely quick to my boss here at work if anyone is able to assist.
Hi,
You are correct, I doubt you are going to find a more cost effective VoIP solution..
For 30 users I would recomend a T100P digium card and a T1(assuming you are in the US) line for the PBX to PSTN side.. An entry level P4 server with IDE drives should provide enough power for that size install depending on your choice of codec and call concurrency..
Then for each desk you have to decied on an IP phone, this will largley depend on your budget.. Prices range from $75 per phone to nearly $1000, alternatively you could use soft phones of which some are free and some you have to pay for..
Hope that helps..
Later..
