On CVS head there is app_directed_pickup
It will let you pickup a ringing extension directly without having to
worry about pickup groups etc.....

pickup ringing phone on the same group. What happen if I have more
than one ringing call?
I tryied *8#exten, *8eten# but it doesn’t wotk.
